Many of England’s historic cities are home to a Cathedral and we would recommend making time to go and explore any of these magnificent places. We’d suggest opting for a guided tour or getting the audio guide to get the best experience where you’ll learn lots whilst you gaze at the beautiful stained glassed windows, spiralling staircases and some awe-inspiring stonework.

After a morning of exploring the streets and discovering the history of the city, it’s time to escape and have a relaxing picnic in a city garden. On your way to the garden pick up some bread, cheeses, meats, some sides and of course, can’t forget the cakes.
