Bath

24th November – 11th December

Bath Christmas Market is back, and this year they are celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Head down for some fantastic festive fun as you step back in time and discover the wonderful world of Christmas in the City. It’s a place where the scent of Christmas dances through the air, traditional artisan makers line the streets, and festive cheer lies on every corner.

Stratford upon Avon

8th December – 11th December

The award-winning Stratford-Upon-Avon Victorian Christmas Market is one of the UK’s biggest and most well-loved Christmas markets, with over 300 fabulous stalls and all traders in full Victorian dress. Experience some delicious street food, mulled wine & cider and Bailey’s hot chocolate or head straight to the fun fair where you can find the original Victorian carousel and traditional market stalls covering all the historical town centre streets.

Carlisle Christmas Market

2nd – 11th December

Carlisle city centre has been transformed into a festive winter wonderland, with the launch of a new Christmas Market. Shoppers can find a wide range of gifts, crafts, food and drink. Christmas favourites, such as mulled wine and cheese and stocking fillers, will be available to buy as well as handmade Christmas decorations, fresh macaroons and lots more.

1st – 18th December

The city of dreaming spires will again be filled with festive joy as the Oxford Christmas Market returns to the heart of the city on beautiful and historic Broad Street.  With the sound of choirs singing Christmas carols, market traders offering unique and handmade gifts, colourful decorations brightening wooden stalls and the aroma of mulled wine and cinnamon drifting in the air – a visit to the Oxford Christmas Market this year is a truly magical Christmas experience.

Salisbury

1st – 31st December

All throughout December be sure to pay a visit to Salisbury this season, as the streets light up with spectacular displays of twinkling lights. Explore the city’s Market Place where you will find a range of Christmas stalls as well as fun rides for the children, live music and a special visit from Santa and his reindeer! Pop by the Frost Bar to enjoy a selection of festive treats.

17th November – 23rd December

Enjoy the Christmas cheer on offer in one of the UK’s most festive cities. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of St Nicholas Fair, which has been a staple in York’s streets during the festive period since 1992. The famous alpine chalets line Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square creating a festive wonderland, with an array of local traders and artisan products. Brand new for this year is a traditional Swiss chalet, The Winter Hütte. Offering a ‘Swiss with a Twist’ dining experience from one of Yorkshire’s best-known chefs. There is also a fully-licensed bar area serving seasonal favourites such as gluhwein and spiced cider.

21st November – 23rd December

If you’re visiting St Paul’s Cathedral this festive season, be sure to take a visit to Paternoster Square’s Christmas Markets. The popular Christmas Markets are located on the doorstep of the Cathedral and are making a popular return this Christmas. With a variety of stalls there’s something for everybody to enjoy including; gourmet street food, Christmas gifts and crafts and even an outdoor bar serving delicious mulled wine.
